Pastor's Page

Dr. Art Sprunger is the new pastor of Kissinger’s Church in Wyomissing, PA, a Bible-believing independent church.

Pastor Art and his wife, Linda, are excited to be called of God to serve Him and share God’s infallible Word with the great folks of this congregation and the surrounding communities in the Berks County and Reading, PA area, and beyond through our social media platforms.

Dr. Art is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College, Grace College and Seminary, and Baptist University, USA. He is ordained with the National Charis Fellowship of Churches aka. National Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, and has Bachelors degrees in Bible, Greek and Psychology,  and a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology. He has also been honored with Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Humane Letters degrees

He has pastored and helped launch several churches in the Lancaster and York County areas of PA, in northern Indiana, Ohio and Delaware. He is also the Founder and Director of New Hope and Freedom Ministries, Inc. and New Hope and Freedom Christian Counseling Services.

He has served as the Executive Director of United Association of Christian Counselors, Intl., and was elected as the President of the Counseling Association of Greater Philadelphia and served on the State Board of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association. He has taught at a number of colleges. He also served as the Pennsylvania State Director for Child Evangelism Fellowship, serving a quarter million elementary age children across the Commonwealth.

Although the congregation is not large, it has a number of ongoing ministries serving folks of all ages. We are especially excited about our proximity next to the Berks Campus of Penn State University, and welcome all who wish to have a church home while pursuing their education. Others in the congregation have strong presences in all the educational institutions in the Berks County area.

Pastor Art is warmly inviting all, young or seasoned to join with us in Worship on Sunday mornings, either in person or online, at 10:15. We are currently exploring the hope and freedom Christ paid such a great price to provide to all who come to Him and believe in Who He is and what He's done, as we study the Book of Galatians.

Don't miss the warm greeting you will get.
